N2 - Disadvantage isn’t often seen as an issue in Canberra. Aren’t we the territory with the highest median income of all States and Territories? And one of the highest education levels? This may be true, but these statistics hide the fact that there are a sizeable number of people, children and households in the ACT experiencing disadvantage in terms of measures such as income, education, and housing affordability. One way to identify hidden disadvantage in the ACT is to drill down into small areas of the ACT, as we have done in this report using the latest data from the 2016 Census of Population and Housing from the ABS.
