Abstract

In 2012 we surveyed Little Eagle, Whistling Kite and Swamp Harrier territories in the Australian Capital Territory by searching former territories and soliciting reports from COG members and ACT Parks and Conservation Service personnel. Two successful Little Eagle nests were reported to us, at Campbell Park that fledged one young, and at Strathnairn that fledged one young. We found no Whistling Kites or Swamp Harriers breeding. We recommend that the Whistling Kites and Swamp Harriers be listed as Vulnerable in the ACT.
