Abstract
In 2012 the NDF organisers challenged me to make something, and I did. I made a hacky demo of how a narrative text could be enriched with Linked Open Data.
I’ve made several attempts at taking this further in the years since — most of which I’ve given up on. But the latest version is shaping up ok, and I’m still think it’s sort of important — so it seemed like a good time to bring it back to where it started, here at NDF.
Not all data has to be big. Not every digital project has to finish in a sprint. This is a story of small, simple technologies, and slow burning passions.
