Abstract
‘Creative’ is now a planning buzzword globally. When I was reading the book Making meaning, making money to prepare for this book review, the newest issues of Journal of planning education and research (2010, volume 29, issue 3) and Cities (2010, volume 27, special edition) both published on similar topics of creativity, culture, arts and their implications for urban and community development.
