    Abstract

This last chapter summarises the key research findings, discusses key recommendations for practice and future research and reflects on the democratic need for better political management. It shows that the core principles of managing people effectively remain crucial to both effectiveness and wellbeing whether it is a campaign, party, political office or government, but they have to be integrated into the political environment. It also provides a sense of direction for both the community of practitioners and field of research of political management.
