Abstract

Welcome to the 2006 International Conference on Intelligent Agents, Web Technologies and Internet Commerce - IAWTIC'2006.

The conference has attracted a large number of full paper submissions from over 35 countries including: Algeria, Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, China, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, India, Iran, Israel, Italy, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Norway, Pakistan, Poland, Portugal, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Taiwan, Thailand, The Netherlands, United Arab Emirates and the USA. Each full paper submission to the conference was reviewed by two referees. The proceedings of the IAWTIC2006 are published as books by IEEE Computer Society Publishing in USA.

The book proceedings are to provide highlights of the current research in intelligent agents and web technologies. It consists of research papers in the fields of intelligent agent, web security, secure routing, e-commerce security, e-commerce and e-business, intelligent modelling and monitoring of resources on the web, innovative application of intelligent agents, multi-agent systems and agents communications, document retrieval, classification and information filtering, ontology and web semantics, automation, XML databases, mobile and wireless systems, software configuration and intelligent educational and entertainment systems. This book contains all the accepted papers of the 2006 International Conference on Intelligent Agents, Web Technologies and Internet Commerce - IAWTIC'2006.
