Abstract

This paper highlights the results of the survey undertaken within the Australian Capital Territory (ACT), Australia of the issues relating to the migration to cloud computing. The sample survey was administered on the readers of the Australian Computer Society (ACS) members within the ACT and who are also in the strategic management positions to either influence their respective Information Communications and Technology (ICT) strategies and/or have the decision making powers to deploy cloud computing. The paper is based on a research in progress on the investigation of standard based interoperability protocols for the convergence of cloud computing, service oriented architecture (SOA) and enterprise architecture (EA)
