On the definition and relevance of context-awareness in Personal Networks

Abstract

Personal Networks (PNs) enable users to be connected with their devices and services at any time and any place. Context-Awareness will further enrich PNs. This paper shows some examples, presents definitions of Context and ContextAwareness for PNs, and introduces a high-level architecture for Context-Awareness that is tailored to PNs.
