Abstract
The ARC Centre of Excellence for Creative
Industries and Innovation (CCI) was formed in
2005 to model a unique approach to humanities
research in Australia, repositioning it as applied
and cross-disciplinary. Leveraging the $60 million
investment in the innovative Creative Industries
Precinct made by CCI’s administering organisation,
Queensland University of Technology and the
Queensland Government, CCI has developed a
research program in the creative industries which
is recognised as pre-eminent nationally and
internationally.
