    Abstract

This was a one-day live art event in which the artist UK Frederick took apart three everyday objects (a telephone, a coffee-making machine and a telephone) from which she made a series of blueprints. Using a nifty set of tools, a little bit of know-how, and the cyanotype medium, the artist breaks down working things and remakes them into images. This art work was commissioned as part of Canberra's 2018 Art not Apart Festival and involved conversations and public engagement as part of the performative nature of the project.
