Abstract

Fereday and colleagues lead of this month with a study sharpening our ability to target training to the most demanding periods of competition by evaluating differences between fixed and rolling average measures of running demand. In the second feature article, Wade’s group provide a systematic review to inform the selection of performance-based cognitive measures in physical activity research. In the third of our feature articles, Biese and co-workers provide an evaluation of adolescent sport specialization and injury mechanism by sex.
