Abstract
The people, process, data, and technology (2PDT) paradigm is not new to IS scholars. However, with the recent advancements in IS research such as the demand towards AI or Cybersecurity or even IS in social context, it is expected that this paradigm can contribute to newer body of knowledge that may not have been explored previously. In this workshop, we aim to firstly share our recent findings and contributions in different contexts utilising the 2PDT paradigm including AI capabilities, Cybersecurity for Australian Medical Practices, Singapore’s construction 4.0 roadmap, system and thinking design, and even from a management perspective. In this step, we first present five different literatures in IS and discuss variations of 2PDT to shape research questions, design, data collection and analysis.
Secondly, we aim to evaluate the 2PDT and receive input from participants. We engage and collate inputs from participants and the context of their respective interests or expertise. Lastly, the revised paradigm is summarised and contributions to possible body of knowledge will be discussed.
