Abstract

The relationship between companies and sustainability is a critical issue in both developed and developing countries. The private sector has come to realize that long-term profitability depends at least to some degree on social justice and environmental protection. As a result, business objectives and values have changed, as well as the business solutions through which they are implemented. The triple bottom line is no longer a marginal concept but central to the management of the business.
