Abstract
This chapter argues that both traditional and emerging media play a pivotal role in the construction and dissemination of executive personas, often promoting behaviour that would otherwise be condemned in other social or community settings, contributing to the acceptance of psychopathic behaviours in both social and corporate settings. The chapter centres on case studies of entrepreneurs such as Elizabeth Holmes, Elon Musk and Sam Bankman-Fried, whose global profile as exemplary leaders in high-tech innovation has occluded questions about behaviour that can be read as a matter of the dark triad.
