Abstract
A capillary zone electrophoretic (CZE) method has been developed for the quantitation of complex heroin seized by law enforcement. Comparison with a currently used high-performance liquid chromatographic (HPLC) method demonstrates that the CZE method has the same order of repeatability, is faster, uses minimal organic solvent, and has a resolving power that is far superior to the HPLC procedure.
