Abstract
Many readers will be familiar with Alan Loney`s diverse literary activities in the last quarter of the twentieth century. Much of his poetry was published in New Zealand during this time, in six collections (following his first in 1971), together with a memoir and an edited volume. He established Hawk Press in 1975; ran Black Light Press (1987-1998); and founded the Book Arts Society.
