Abstract
This chapter seeks to bring further insight to bear on the way in which our society structures services related to the well-being of people with hearing disability. As the epigraphs above highlight, for people with disability, the political is deeply personal and as a collective, we are tired of being left outside the discussion on citizenship and participation.
