Abstract
Stereotypes are omnipresent, they influence our everyday interactions and individual perceptions. Pedagogical professionals have the opportunity to deconstruct stereotypical assumptions by emphasising individuality, analysing stereotypes, contextualising, applying the contact hypothesis, conveying reflexive knowledge, understanding underlying processes, and developing competencies.
