Visitation Research at Canberra International Airport

Abstract

A survey was conducted at Canberra International Airport over a three-week period from 20 November to 10 December, 2017 with a series of interviews that were quantitative and qualitative inclusively. The research focused on international visitors commuting on Singapore Airlines travelling between Singapore, Canberra and Wellington. The research examined the opinions of visitors across the broad range of trip planning and booking, activities undertaken, visitor satisfaction levels, dispersal of visitors and the potential of a Visitor Information Centre (VIC) to be made available at the Canberra International Airport.
